Elections in Russia
- 8 October
From March 15 to 17, 2024, presidential elections were held in Russia. Dictator Vladimir Putin, Nikolai Kharitonov from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Leonid Slutsky from the LDPR and Vladislav Davankov from "New People" competed for the post of "president".
There are many questions about the legitimacy of these elections. First, Russia held them in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. Second, thanks to the remote electronic voting system and holding "long elections" stretched over several days, the Russian authorities obtained all the tools for outright fraud.
As planned, the so-called elections were won by Vladimir Putin. By the way, he has been in power since 2000.
