Electricity Market

Currently, all electricity reaches consumers only through regional power companies (oblenergos). And people have no right to choose. From July 1, 2019, competition will come to the market. Oblenergos will only produce electricity, and various companies will supply it to homes.

New power grids will not be built for each supplier; they will rent them from the state or oblenergos. And in this way, Ukrainians will be able to choose tariffs attractive to them from among these companies.
