Irpin
A Hero City of Ukraine located near the capital, Kyiv.Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion by Russian forces, Irpin has suffered from enemy shelling and the occupiers' offensive. As a result of the Russian attacks, Irpin's infrastructure suffered irreparable damage – many residential buildings were damaged or destroyed. In addition, the bridge leading to Kyiv was destroyed – it was destroyed to prevent the Russians from getting through to the capital. The city was occupied by the Russian occupiers until March 28.As a result of the militants' occupation, 300 civilians and 50 Ukrainian soldiers were killed. The city authorities currently do not recommend returning to Irpin – it is temporarily dangerous to stay in the city because of mines laid by the occupiers.
