Kaliningrad

Kaliningrad is a city of Russia located on the territory of Europe, where the Pregolya River flows into the Baltic Sea. 

Kaliningrad became Russian after occupation by the Soviet Union in 1945. Before its capture, the city was called Königsberg. It should be noted that the region borders Lithuania and Poland.

Kaliningrad as part of Russia is not going through its best times – due to sanctions, logistics there have become more complicated, and social and economic weaknesses have surfaced.
