In 2000, Konstantin Meladze created the famous band VIA Gra and wrote hits for it. The composer disbanded the group in 2025.

Accident involving Meladze
On December 27, 2012, on the Kyiv–Obukhiv highway, Konstantin Meladze hit and killed a 30-year-old woman. She left behind two children.
The composer was sober. According to media reports, he may have paid compensation to the family, and the case was closed.
