Lemons from Monobank
Monobank launched a prize draw to celebrate the bank reaching 10 million clients. Participants in the interactive draw can win 50 iPhone 17s, 1,000,000 hryvnias or a BMW. The point of the interactive game is to collect lemons in the mobile app.
A few hours after the promotion started, the Monobank app crashed due to a huge influx of users looking for lemons to take part in the draw. Later, posts and guides on where to find lemons went viral on social media.
