Maksym Mykytas
Maksym Mykytas is one of the largest Kyiv developers. From June 2010, he headed the Ukrainian State Construction Corporation Ukrbud (which was repeatedly involved in scandals).
He became a deputy in 2016, winning in single-member district No. 206 in Chernihiv as a self-nominated candidate. In the Verkhovna Rada he represented the Will of the People group. In 2019, he ran for the Verkhovna Rada in the same place, but lost to the Servant of the People candidate Anton Poliakov.
At the end of September 2019, the State Bureau of Investigation served Mykytas with a notice of suspicion. He is accused of hooliganism during the election campaign.
Later, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau served Mykytas with a notice of suspicion. He is accused of misappropriating National Guard property worth over 81 million hryvnias.
The investigation established that Mykytas, using construction companies under his control and acting in collusion with former National Guard commander Yurii Allerov, organized a corruption scheme to seize National Guard real estate.
On August 20, 2026, SAPO prosecutors served notices of suspicion to members of a criminal organization exposed as part of Operation Forrest Gump. According to the investigation, the defendants in the case, including Maksym Mykytas, illegally seized over 248 million hryvnias that were assets of various enterprises.
