New Spelling Rules
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the new edition of Ukrainian Spelling.The decision was made on May 22, 2019.
What has changed?
Most of the changes concern words of foreign origin – the variants of how they are rendered in Ukrainian are changing. New rules for writing abbreviations and transliteration have also appeared.
