Novoluhanske

Novoluhanske – an urban-type settlement in Bakhmut Raion of Donetsk Oblast. On December 18, terrorists struck the settlement with "Grad" multiple rocket launchers. The fire came from occupied Horlivka. As a result of the shelling, 8 civilians were wounded. Among the victims – are six women, one man and one child with psychological trauma.

Dozens of houses were destroyed to the ground. Among the damaged buildings – are a kindergarten, a school and a medical aid post.

After the cynical shelling, the evacuation of people from the town began.

This shelling was preceded by the liberation of the villages of Travneve and Hladosove by the Ukrainian army. After these settlements came under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the terrorists gave the civilians of these villages no peace with shelling. Eventually many, unable to bear spending nights in basements, moved to Novoluhanske.
