Oleg Tatarov

Oleg Tatarov is a Ukrainian lawyer and civil servant. Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine since August 5, 2020.

Tatarov "became famous" as deputy head of a department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine under Vitalii Zakharchenko – one of the key suspects in the killings of the Heavenly Hundred. Zakharchenko is currently hiding in Russia.

During the Revolution of Dignity, Tatarov told Ukraine's international partners that the Maidan protesters "shoot themselves and attack the Berkut".

In one interview, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Tatarov was not personally involvedin the shooting of the heroes of the Heavenly Hundred.
