Oleksandr Yurchenko, an MP from the Servant of the People faction, was caught taking a bribe.

MP Geo Leros was the first to report that Yurchenko had been caught taking a bribe.

Later, Servant of the People MP David Arakhamia said that Yurchenko would voluntarily leave the faction while the investigation was ongoing.Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova noted that it was too early to serve Yurchenko a notice of suspicion.

On September 15, NABU published a video showing part of the bribe being handed over to an MP. It was probably Yurchenko.
