Oligarchs
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is to consider a draft law that will regulate the activities of oligarchs. The document, submitted to parliament by President Zelenskyy, provides, in particular, for the creation of a Register of Oligarchs. Persons included in this list will be prohibited from directly or indirectly financing political parties and from taking part in large-scale privatization. They will also be required to submit the same declaration as persons authorized to perform the functions of the state or local self-government.
