Pavlo Petrenko

Pavlo Petrenko is a People's Deputy of Ukraine of the 7th convocation and Minister of Justice of Ukraine. He is running in the 2019 parliamentary elections together with the party "Groysman's Ukrainian Strategy".

Pavlo Petrenko initiated the liquidation of communist parties in Ukraine and advocates a reboot of the judicial system in Ukraine. Petrenko also took part in the release of Euromaidan activists.

Despite Petrenko's merits, many lawyers and activists suspect him of covering up corruption. He also featured in a scandal over the "sudden enrichment" of his student niece, who bought two apartments in Pechersk and a Lexus NX200 car.
