
Refat Chubarov
Refat Chubarov is a Crimean Tatar political and public figure. Refat Chubarov is running in the 2019 parliamentary elections as part of the "Strength and Honor" party.
Refat Chubarov took the post of Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People in November 2013.
Chubarov opposed the "Crimean referendum" and called on citizens to boycott it. Refat Chubarov states that Crimea and its people will be free only as part of Ukraine. He also speaks out in defense of Ukrainian political prisoners held on the territory of the Russian Federation.
