Saakashvili Has Been Granted Ukrainian Citizenship Again
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy restored Ukrainian citizenship to Mikheil Saakashvili, thereby amending the decree of his predecessor Petro Poroshenko.
To recall, on May 26, 2015, President Poroshenko granted Saakashvili Ukrainian citizenship. Since then, he managed to serve as head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, but resigned in 2016.
