SBU
The Security Service of Ukraine is a special-purpose state body that protects Ukraine, ensures state security and creates the conditions for our state's strategic advantage.
From 2023 to 2026, the SBU was headed by Vasyl Maliuk. During this time, the Security Service carried out a number of successful operations: Operation Spiderweb, three attacks on the Crimean Bridge, strikes on Russian oil refineries, and the elimination of war criminals and traitors (Igor Kirillov, Illia Kyva, Vladlen Tatarsky, Armen Sarkisyan (Horlivskyi), Valerii Trankovskyi and others).
In 2026, the SBU came to be headed by Yevhen Khmara, who had led the Special Operations Centre "A" of the Security Service of Ukraine.
