Soledar
In January 2023, fierce battles began for Soledar in the Donetsk region. The occupiers are trying with all their might to take this city. Ukrainian defenders, meanwhile, are giving them a worthy rebuff.According to analysts, Soledar is the main operational objective for the Russians, as this would give them more opportunities to capture Bakhmut. After that, they would be able to advance towards the Sloviansk area or west towards the Kostiantynivka area and Druzhkivka.
