
The Orange Revolution
Protests and rallies in Ukraine organised and held by supporters of Viktor Yushchenko, the main opposition candidate in the presidential elections of November–December 2004, after the Central Election Commission announced preliminary results according to which his rival, Viktor Yanukovych, had allegedly won.
The action began on November 22, 2004 as a reaction to mass fraud that affected the outcome of the elections.
