The Pavlichenko Case

The Pavlichenkos were convicted of murdering Serhii Zubkov, a judge of Kyiv's Shevchenkivskyi District Court. The father, Dmytro Pavlichenko, received a life sentence, and his son Serhii – 13 years in prison. The verdict caused a wave of protests in Ukraine.

The hearing of the case was postponed to prepare for a partial resumption of the investigation.
