Traffic Accidents Involving Children in Belarus

On May 13, in Belarus near Kamianets, a children's football team from Ukraine was involved in a car accident. As a result of the crash, one child was killed and six more were injured. 

According to preliminary information, the driver of a Renault Master collided with an "Amkodor" loader travelling in the same direction, driven by a local resident. As a result of the collision, a child passenger born in 2005, a citizen of Ukraine, who was in the front passenger seat, was killed. According to media reports, the victim was a native of Sumy, but the regional administration denies this information. 

President Petro Poroshenko, in turn, instructed diplomats and medics to provide all necessary assistance to the young footballers and their families.
