
Volodymyr Saldo
Volodymyr Saldo is a Kherson politician and businessman, a former member of the Party of Regions, mayor of Kherson from 2002 to 2012 and a People's Deputy (2012 - 2014) who voted for Yanukovych's "dictatorship laws". He was detained in 2016 in the Dominican Republic under strange circumstances. In 2020, he ran for mayor of Kherson again and made it to the second round, where he suffered a crushing defeat to MP Igor Kolykhaev.
