War Budgets
"War Budgets" – a 24 Channel project that examines Ukraine's key expenditures over three years of full-scale war. We analyze how and on what budget funds are spent, what decisions the state makes, and what financial challenges the country has faced since the start of the large-scale invasion.
In the project's materials, we break down spending on strategically important areas – generators, drones, shelters and other infrastructure. In addition to the total amounts, we show the regional distribution of funds, the efficiency of their use and the dynamics of changes in procurement.
"War Budgets" – is not just numbers. We talk with experts, soldiers, businesspeople and people working in critically important industries. We want to show comprehensively how state spending affects the course of the war and the lives of citizens.
