Yevpatoria
A port and resort city on the western coast of the Crimean Peninsula in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.
On March 16, 2014, the Russian occupation authorities held a so-called "referendum" in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol on Crimea's secession from Ukraine, after which the seized territories were hastily incorporated into the Russian Federation by decisions of the President of Russia and the State Duma.
The seizure of Crimea and its annexation to Russia is not recognised by the international community.
