Commander of the 429th Separate Unmanned Systems Brigade "Achilles".
Deputy of the Kyiv City Council. From the start of the full-scale invasion, he defended the country, fighting in the 128th Battalion of the 112th Territorial Defense Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as commander of the 4th company.
On February 9, 2023, Yuriy Fedorenko headed one of Ukraine's first strike unmanned aviation system companies within the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Ivan Sirko. On January 31, 2024, the company was scaled up into the "Achilles" strike unmanned aviation systems battalion. In January 2025, the battalion was scaled up into the 429th Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment "Achilles", with Yuriy Fedorenko at its head.
