Arson at Shabunin's House
The house of Vitalii Shabunin, head of the board of the Anti-Corruption Action Center, was set on fire by unknown persons at night. Fortunately, neither the activist nor his children were in the house at the time. Shabunin's parents managed to leave the house in time.
The police say they continue to inspect Vitalii Shabunin's house to establish the circumstances of the fire.
The forensic laboratory of Kyiv region and the forensic laboratory of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are currently working there. Experts of the fire-technical service of the State Emergency Service have also been involved. As of 10 a.m., law enforcement officers have not yet determined the legal qualification of the case.
However, they are considering the version of arson.
