The Coalition of the Willing (in English – Coalition of the willing) is an association of European countries that emerged on March 2, 2025. The creation of the international initiative was announced by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer following a summit of 18 world leaders in London.
The member countries of the Coalition of the Willing help Ukraine in the war against Russia. In particular, they provide military aid, as well as financial, logistical and intelligence support. The leaders of the association are France and the United Kingdom.
Following the Coalition of the Willing Summit on September 4, 2025, French President Emmanuel Macron stated that there was a political and military offer from 35 national leaders on security guarantees for Ukraine. Of these, 26 agreed either to send a contingent to Ukraine or to provide certain assets to support the coalition forces in ensuring security at sea or in the air.
