FC Oleksandriya

"Oleksandriya" – a football club from the city of the same name in Kirovohrad Oblast.

The first professional team in Oleksandriia was created in 1948 and was called "Shakhtar". However, the current team has nothing to do with that "Shakhtar", even though the date 1948 appears on the club's crest.

The modern "Oleksandriya" was founded in 1990 as "Polihraftekhnika". It was renamed "Oleksandriya" in 2003.

The team plays at the "Nika" stadium, which holds 7,000 spectators.

Head coach – Volodymyr Sharan.
