The plane with evacuated Ukrainians took off from China on the evening of February 19, at 00:30 on February 20 local time. The aircraft made a technical stop at Almaty airport to refuel and rotate the crew. During the stop, two citizens of Kazakhstan got off in Almaty.
All the evacuees, as well as the aircraft crew, will be placed in a two-week quarantine. The plane arrived in Ukraine, at Boryspil airport, at 9:40 a.m. on February 20. After landing in Boryspil, the plane will be refueled and will then fly on to Kharkiv International Airport.
From Kharkiv airport, the passengers will be taken by special transport of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, escorted and guarded by police, to the premises of the National Guard of Ukraine medical center "Novi Sanzhary" in Poltava region.
