An NRK is a ground robotic complex (UGV) that the Armed Forces of Ukraine use at the front.
During Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, ground robotic complexes have come to play an important role at the front. In particular, there are wheeled and tracked UGVs, as well as ones controlled via Starlink.
The Ukrainian military says that UGVs are playing an ever greater role at the front. As of June 2026, the deputy commander of the 3rd Army Corps, Maksym Zhorin, said that the military had been tasked with reducing the number of personnel on the front line by 30% by autumn 2026 thanks to UGVs.
Ukraine uses the ground robotic complexes TerMIT, Rys, Tarhan, Volia, Zmii, Bandura, Vepr, Ardal, Sirko, Liut, Ravlyk and many others. Russia, for its part, hardly uses UGVs at the front.
