Riot at the Odessa Prison

A prisoners' riot broke out at Southern Correctional Colony No. 51 on Lustdorfska Road. A fire started on the colony grounds. Initially, it was reported that prisoners had escaped. Allegedly, 15 prisoners fled the colony and some of them were caught. However, the information turned out to be false. In fact, law enforcement officers caught not escapees but several sympathisers who had come to the colony to support the prisoners.

National Guard troops and special forces were also brought to the colony. Lustdorfska Road is currently closed. According to the prisoners, the special forces are dealing extremely harshly with those who rebelled.
