Steve Witkoff
Спецпредставник США на Близькому Сході
Steve Witkoff is a legend of American business and a very well-known developer, billionaire, landlord and founder of Witkoff Group. He is also one of Donald Trump's closest friends.
Witkoff, like Trump, made his fortune in real estate. It was the future US president who inspired Witkoff to change occupations and become a developer. Besides real estate, Witkoff and Trump are united by golf. It was Witkoff who was next to Trump on the golf course during the alleged assassination attempt on the presidential candidate in September 2024.
Witkoff has been a sponsor of the Republican Party for many years; he also financed Trump's election campaign and spent this period by his side. As the media wrote, Witkoff is not only a trusted adviser, but has repeatedly acted as an intermediary in the most difficult missions – from the Middle East to Russia.
Steve Witkoff has no diplomatic experience, but has a reputation as a talented negotiator. Witkoff, in particular, is conducting negotiations with Russia on peace initiatives in the context of the war in Ukraine.
