On June 9, the DPRK abruptly cut off communication with South Korea, saying that the negotiations bring "only disappointment".
On June 3, Kim Jong Un's sister, Kim Yo Jong, said that Pyongyang was ready to use the army to take revenge on South Koreans for the propaganda they allow themselves to carry out.
On June 15, South Korea recalled the "spirit of reconciliation", but in response the DPRK announced that it intended to send troops into the demilitarized zone.
