The Village of Groza
The village of Hroza is a village in the Kharkiv region, at which Russia launched an "Iskander" missile on October 5, 2023. It precisely hit a cafe and a shop at a time when people were there for a memorial lunch.
Unfortunately, the Russian strike on the village of Hroza in the Kupiansk district claimed the lives of 59 civilians. That is, every fourth resident of the village was killed.
The missile was guided onto the village of Hroza by two brothers who themselves grew up in this settlement. They are 30-year-old Volodymyr Mamon and his younger brother, 23-year-old Dmytro Mamon. They fled to Russia and knew when people in their home village would gather for the memorial lunch.
