Viktor Orbán
Viktor Orbán is a Hungarian politician and pro-Russian prime minister. He held the post from 1998 to 2002 and was re-elected in 2010, 2014, 2018 and 2022.
He lost the parliamentary elections in Hungary on April 12, 2026. Orbán's main rival was Péter Magyar, a former member of Orbán's camp and leader of the Tisza party, who won the election.
Orbán is the leader of the centre-right conservative party Fidesz, one of the largest in Hungary.
During his premiership, he did not support sanctions against Russia or an oil and gas embargo. He also blocked European decisions on sanctions and aid to Ukraine.
