Yuri Ushakov often speaks about Russia's war against Ukraine, the peace plan and negotiations. The diplomat is also involved in negotiations with the US, as he was Russia's ambassador to America from 1998 to 2008. It is Yuri Ushakov who conducts phone calls with the American side, including with Steve Witkoff.
