Iran

Iran is a state in Western Asia and the second-largest country in the Middle East. It borders Iraq, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Before the 1979 revolution, Iran was a pro-Western state. However, after it, the country changed both its foreign and domestic policy. In particular, it began to maintain diplomatic relations with the Soviet Union, later with Russia, and has a complicated relationship with the West.

In particular, the USA accuses Iran of sponsoring terrorist organisations (Hezbollah, Hamas and others) and developing nuclear weapons.

Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei supported Russia. In particular, it was Iran that provided Putin with Shaheds and the technology to produce them in order to attack our country during the Russian-Ukrainian war.

On February 28, 2026, the USA and Israel launched an operation against Iran to eliminate threats. Donald Trump stated that Tehran could have obtained nuclear weapons within two weeks.
