Major Construction Project

Major Construction is a government program in Ukraine initiated by Volodymyr Zelenskyy in 2020. Under it, roads, schools, bridges, kindergartens and sports facilities were to be built.

At the end of 2021, the President of Ukraine reported on the renovation and construction of more than 40% of the road network in Ukraine, that is, 14 thousand kilometers. 

After the start of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, the program was continued, but budgets were cut. The focus also shifted to repairing housing and buildings and building fortifications, roads and energy facilities.
