"Servants of the People" Members to Undergo Polygraph Tests
At a meeting of the Rada's finance committee, deputies from the Servant of the People faction refused to support the abolition of a corruption scheme built into the housing valuation procedure.
According to former state commissioner of the Antimonopoly Committee Ahiia Zahrebelskyi, when processing real estate transactions, Ukrainians pay about 1 million hryvnias a day in unnecessary payments to shell companies behind which stand current MP Anton Yatsenko (in the previous Rada, a member of the Vidrodzhennia faction, affiliated with oligarch Ihor Kolomoisky) and former MP Vitalii Khomutynnik (the closest partner of oligarchs Pavel Fuks and Kolomoisky).
It turned out that only 5 committee members from Servant of the People want to destroy Yatsenko's monopoly. 11 "servants of the people" took Yatsenko's side on principle. Among them are Kolomoisky's people, namely Dubinsky and Vasylevska, former MP Serhii Leshchenko wrote in his blog.
Afterwards, Servant of the People MP Oleksandr Dubinsky and faction head David Arakhamia exchanged accusations over this situation.
