Pryamy TV Channel
The Pryamy TV channel was previously called Tonis and until 2014 belonged to Viktor Yanukovych's eldest son, Oleksandr Yanukovych. After his flight from Ukraine, Tonis ended up in the hands of Petro Poroshenko's entourage.
In 2017, Tonis was renamed Pryamy Channel. Petro Poroshenko claims that he has nothing to do with the ownership or management of Pryamy. However, during the 2019 presidential elections, the channel actively supported the then authorities and President Poroshenko.
Officially, the Pryamy TV channel belongs to Ukrainian MP and former Party of Regions member Volodymyr Makeienko.
