The National Guard will provide updates on the victims and the progress of the investigation into the incident near Kyiv
The Ukrainian National Guard is preparing to launch an internal investigation into the events of November 2 in Petropavlivska Borshchahivka, near Kyiv. The agency has promised to punish those responsible if any violations are found.
This was reported by the National Guard of Ukraine.
What is the National Guard of Ukraine saying?
Law enforcement agencies are involved in investigating all the circumstances of the incident and providing an independent legal assessment of the events near Kyiv.
The main task is to establish the actual circumstances and determine whether there were any violations in the situation that unfolded in Petropavlivska Borshchahivka… If violations are found, those responsible will be held accountable under the law,
– the National Guard of Ukraine stated.
They also assured that some relatives and members of the public have already been granted access to the premises, so they were able to speak in person with those who are inside.
We will regularly publish updates on the condition of the victims and the progress of the investigation. So far, no additional requests for medical assistance have been received,
the National Guard of Ukraine added.
As a reminder, it was previously reported that representatives from the Office of the Military Ombudsman arrived in Petropavlivska Borshchahivka together with the command of the National Guard of Ukraine. They noted that all servicemen are safe and receiving the necessary assistance.
