Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Donald Trump met on July 28, 2026, in the Oval Office. The President of Ukraine said they discussed licenses for the production of interceptors for Patriot and diplomacy.

The President of Ukraine and the US leader met together with the head of France on June 16, 2026, at the G7 summit in France. 

Meetings between Zelenskyy and Trump in 2025

On February 28, 2025, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with US President Donald Trump at the White House. The main topic of the talks was to be the signing of an economic agreement granting the US exclusive rights to extract rare earth minerals in Ukraine. At that time, a public quarrel took place between Zelenskyy and Trump, and the Ukrainian leader left the White House early.

Despite this, Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Donald Trump spoke at the funeral of the Pope on April 26, 2025, and at the NATO Summit in The Hague on June 25 of the same year. 

The leaders also met in Washington on August 18, 2025.

A meeting between Zelenskyy and Trump also took place on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York on September 23, 2025.

The last time in 2025, Zelenskyy and Trump held talks at the US president's private residence Mar-a-Lago (Florida) on December 28.
