Ceasefire
A ceasefire is the cessation of hostilities as a result of agreements between the warring parties.
Since the beginning of the war in Donbas, Russia has pretended dozens of times to agree to a ceasefire. However, each time it violated the agreement.
In particular, a ceasefire in Donbas supposedly came into effect on July 27, 2020, at 00:01. Russia then held out until 00:20 on July 27, as it was at this time that pro-Russian militants fired at units of the 36th Separate Marine Brigade.
In the fourth year of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine the Kremlin has again sat down at the table of peace negotiations. There is an agreed peace plan, and Russia is supposedly negotiating a ceasefire and an end to the war.
