Melania Trump answered whether she would visit Ukraine

U.S. First Lady Melania Trump has not ruled out a possible visit to Ukraine. U.S. President Donald Trump has also confirmed this possibility.

Melania Trump said this during a conversation with members of the media.

Will Trump come?

The First Lady of the United States commented on the possibility of her trip to Kyiv. When asked by a reporter about her potential visit, Melania Trump replied succinctly, “We’ll see.”

U.S. President Donald Trump added that such a visit could indeed take place.

Diplomatic Contacts Between Ukraine and the U.S.

The statement came amid intensified dialogue between the two sides regarding further diplomatic steps. Representatives from Ukraine and the U.S. continue to discuss possible paths to achieving peace.

Earlier, the Ukrainian side announced meetings in Europe with Donald Trump’s special representatives. In addition, Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed hope that, with U.S. mediation, it would be possible to agree to a ceasefire during the G20 summit in December.

As a reminder, Melania Trump suggested she might visit Ukraine, also against the backdrop of agreements on a temporary ceasefire in Oleshky. Through her mediation, Ukraine and Russia have agreed on a local ceasefire in this area of occupied Kherson Oblast. The ceasefire there is set to begin at 4:00 a.m. on October 27.

These agreements between the parties provide for the delivery of humanitarian aid, technical demining, and the creation of conditions for the evacuation of the civilian population.
